FLORENCE, S. C. -- Lindsey Wilson junior defender
Rowena Alsanea scored a pair goals as the Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team defeated NCAA Francis Marion (SC) University 3-0 on Thursday.
Freshman midfielder
Jodi Ann McGregor added another en route in to the 3-0 win.
Lindsey Wilson improves to 10-2-1 with the win, while Frances Marion falls to 3-6-0 with the loss.
Alsanea scored the game's first goal at the 60:36 mark to give the Blue Raiders a 1-0 lead. Junior
Jill Lirbank-Almbaek headed the ball to Alsanea in the penalty box, who headed the ball pass Francis Marion sophomore goalkeeper Jacque Sutphin for the lead.
Alsanea scored her second goal of the game and her fifth of the season 16 minutes later to give the Blue Raiders the 2-0 lead. Alsanea beat Sutphin from 25 yards out from the right flank at the 76:40 mark to double the Lindsey Wilson lead.
McGregor scored the game's final goal at the 89:40 mark from seven yards out off a cross from junior midfielder
Hishamar Falconer to give Lindsey Wilson the 3-0 lead and eventually the win.

Mia Moeller recorded her fourth shutout of the season while earning the win. Moeller recorded two saves. Sutphin ended the game with six saves.
Lindsey Wilson out-shot Francis Marion 13-5 for the game.
The Blue Raiders return to action at 7 p.m. CT on Monday, October 17, as Lindsey Wilson hosts Cumberland (Tenn.) University at Lindsey Wilson Park.
