GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team won their third tournament of the season at the Bluegrass Fall Classic hosted by Georgetown (Ky.) College on Thursday and Friday at Cherry Blossom Golf Club.
Lindsey Wilson shot a two-day total of three-under par 573 (290-283) over the 6,852-yard Cherry Blossom course. The win is the Blue Raiders third consecutive.
Following the Blue Raiders, defending NAIA Region XI champions, Cumberland (Tenn.) University finished second with a team-total of 595 (302-293). University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) finished third with a total of 601 (296-305), while Campbellsville (Ky.) University finished fourth with 603 (310-293).
Host Georgetown (608), Brescia (Ky.) University (614) and Pikeville (Ky.) College (663) rounds out the seven-team field.

Federico Lizarralde won his first tournament of the season with a two-day total of four-under par 140 (72-68). The win is Lizarralde's third of his career.

Tyler Sharpe and junior Zach Wilson tied for second to give the Blue Raiders the top-three scores. Sharpe (72-69) and Wilson (73-68) both shot three-under par 141 for the tournament to earn all-tournament honors.

Carlos Navarro finished with a 151 (73-78) to tie for 13th, while junior
Kyle Andreas finished tied for 32nd with a 159 (78-81). Senior
Bill Dukes shot 153 (78-75) as an individual to finish tied for 20th.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 7:30 a.m. CT on Monday, October 3, as the Blue Raiders travel to the Don Bishop Invitational hosted by Campbellsville (Ky.) University at Campbellsville Country Club.
