OLATHE, Kan. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team shut out their 11th straight opponent to advance to Monday's national semifinals.
The second-seeded Blue Raiders (22-2-0) beat No. 7-seed Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) University 2-0 to advance to the semifinals.
Lindsey Wilson faces No. 3-seed Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College -- who beat Lee (Tenn.) University 3-1 today -- at 6 p.m. CST on Monday at the College Boulevard Activity Center.
The match features the last two national champions: Lindsey Wilson won the 2004 title, Martin Methodist won last season's championship.
In Saturday's match, Lindsey Wilson freshman
Kristine Pedersen scored her 23rd goal of the season at the 20:45 mark to give the Blue Raiders a 1-0 lead.

Sashsheena Stewart served the ball from the right flank to the far post onto Pedersen's boot. Pedersen blasted the ball across the box and beat Point Loma Nazarene goalkeeper Cissy Butler.
Pedersen's goal was the lone goal of the half as two teams each recorded four shots.
Lindsey Wilson -- who had to go against a strong wind in the first 45 minutes -- used the second half wind to out-shoot Point Loma 14-4 in the second period.

Yolanda Hamilton and Pedersen hooked up on the second Lindsey Wilson goal at the 58:53 mark.
Hamilton played the ball to Pedersen on the right side of the penalty box only to get it back and give the Blue Raiders a 2-0 lead.

Lisbeth Skjodt and the Blue Raider defense needed.
Skjodt ended with two saves en rout to recording her 13th save of the season. Skjodt has not allowed a goal in 1,102 minutes, dating back to October 1. The last team to score against the Blue Raiders is Monday's opponent, Martin Methodist.
Butler finished with five saves as the Sea Lions' season ends with a 14-6-0 record.
Monday's semifinal match will be the third meeting this season between Lindsey Wilson and Martin Methodist.
The Blue Raiders beat the Redhawks (19-3-0) 4-1 on October 1 in Pulaski, Tennessee, and then 3-0 in the NAIA Region XI finals on November 7 at Lindsey Wilson Park.
Top-seeded Azusa Pacific (Calif.) University (20-1-0) and Concordia (Ore.) University (20-1-2) meet at 3 p.m. CST on Monday in the first semifinal match.
The national championship match is scheduled for 6 p.m. CST on Tuesday, November 21.
