COLUMBIA, Ky. --Freshman forward Kristine Pedersen scored a pair of goals and the Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team shut out their second straight opponent with a 5-0 win over host Virginia Intermont College on Wednesday at a matched played in Bristol, Va.

The Blue Raiders improve to 2-1-0, while Virginia Intermont falls to 0-1-0.
In addition to Pedersen's two goals, single goals were added by Blue Raider seniors Hishamar Falconer and Marie Gallagher and junior Maija Suni.

LWC freshman goalkeeper Lisbeth Skjodt picked up the win, earning her first career shutout.
