COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team ran their winning streak to four games with a 2-0 win over Berry (Ga.) College today in Mt. Berry, Georgia.
The No. 7-ranked Blue Raiders improve to 4-1-0 with the win, while No. 19-ranked Berry falls to 5-2-0 with the loss.
Lindsey Wilson dominated the play in the opening half, out-shooting the host 9-0, including 3-0 in shots on goal. But Berry goalkeeper Vanessa Zimmerman kept the game scoreless in the first half, stopping all three Lindsey Wilson shots on goal. Zimmerman ended the game with nine saves.
In the second half, Lindsey Wilson sophomore defender
Daniela Schwarz scored on a free kick in the 67th minute to give the Blue Raiders the 1-0 lead. The goal is Schwarz's second of the season and the 15th of her career.
The Blue Raiders continued to possess the ball, as Lindsey Wilson out-shot the Vikings 9-1 in the second half.

Marie Gallagher scored the insurance goal at the 84:43 mark off senior
Jill Lirbank-Almbaek's assist to give the Blue Raiders the 2-0 lead. Gallagher's goal is her second of the season and 23rd of her career.

Lisbeth Skjodt earned the shutout win despite not recording a save. Skjodt has not allowed a goal in 315 minutes this season.
