COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team ran their winning streak to eight straight with a 3-1 win over Biola (Calif.) University at the Lady Flame Classic hosted by Lee (Tenn.) University in Cleveland, Tennessee.
The No. 4-ranked Blue Raiders improve to 8-1-0 on the season with the win, while No. 22-ranked Biola falls to 4-1-1 with the loss.
Lindsey Wilson scored all three of its goals in the first 18 minutes of the game.

Marie Gallagher scored her fourth goal of the season in the game's 10th minute to give Lindsey Wilson the 1-0 lead. Senior
Hishamar Falconer assisted on the Gallagher goal.
Less than three minutes later, in the game's 13th minute, senior
Jill Lirbank-Almbaek scored her second of the season off sophomore
Sashsheena Stewart's assist to extend the lead to 2-0.

Vicky Whitelaw scored her third goal of the season on an unassited goal in the 18th minute to give Lindsey Wilson a 3-0 lead.
Lindsey Wilson out-shot Biola 9-1 in the first half and led at the break 3-0.
In the second half, the Blue Raiders were unable to score against Biola goalkeeper Keri Schulz despite having a couple of good chances.
Biola's Jordan Bishop ruined the potential shutout in the 52nd minute with her second goal of the season to cut the Lindsey Wilson lead to 3-1. But that would be the Eagles only goal as the game ended 3-1
The Blue Raiders out-shot Biola 14-6 for the match.

Lisbeth Skjodt earned the win allowing one goal while collecting three saves. Schulz finished allowing three goals and recording three saves.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 4 p.m. CT on Saturday, September 23, as the Blue Raiders play No. 2-ranked Azusa Pacific (Calif.) University in the final night of the Lady Flame Classic.
