GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team captured the 2007 Mid-South Conference Tournament tonight with a 5-0 win over University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) at Georgetown College Soccer Field.

The top-seeded Blue Raiders add the tournament title to their regular season crown and will now advance to the NAIA Region XI Championships next week at Lindsey Wilson Park.

Lindsey Wilson scored the game's first goal in the second minute as sophomore Lorna Heaton hit a ball from just outside the penalty area to give the Blue Raiders a 1-0 lead.

Freshman Satsuki Kato scored from about 10 yards out for the Blue Raiders second goal of the game off an assist from freshman Anne Houliston.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore and MSC Player of the Year Omolyn Davis scored from point blank range from Houliston's second assist of the game to push the lead to 3-0.

Freshman Kimmia Parker added to the Blue Raider lead in the 41st minute with a goal of a Davis assist to give Lindsey Wilson the 4-0 lead at the half.

Lindsey Wilson -- who has won the last six MSC Tournament titles -- dominated play in the opening period out-shooting the third-seeded Lady Patriots 9-0.

In the second half, Davis netted her second goal of the game in the 73rd minute off a Kato assist. The goal gave the Blue Raiders the 5-0 win.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore goalkeeper Carrie Revlett recorded her 11th shutout of the season while collecting a pair of saves. Cumberlands net minder Stephanie Reid allowed five goals while recording four saves.

The Blue Raiders advance to the NAIA Region XI semifinals and will face the winner of Cumberlands and Georgetown -- who play in the tournament's first round -- on Monday, November 5, at Lindsey Wilson Park.
