CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team continued its dominance of Mid-South Conference, while the Blue Raider men dropped their seventh straight tonight at Campbellsville (Ky.) University.
In the women's game, Lindsey Wilson junior Krystal Jackson scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Blue Raiders to a 69-66 win over the host Lady Tigers. The Blue Raiders (12-15) remain atop the MSC at 6-1 against conference opponents, one game in front of second-place University of the Cumberlands (Ky.).
Lindsey Wilson used one of its most complete offensive games of the season to beat the Lady Tigers (13-13, 2-5 in the MSC).
The Blue Raiders made 52.7 percent (29-of-55) of their shot attempts from the field, while committing a season-low 10 turnovers.
Danville, Ky., native Jackson led the Blue Raider charge by shooting 9-for-11 from the field. The junior guard also added seven rebounds and a game-high eight assists.
The Lady Tigers -- who shot 46.3 percent from the field -- kept the game close with 7-of-15 shooting from the beyond the three-point arc. Campbellsville also out-rebounded the Blue Raiders, 32-29.
But the Lady Tigers' outside prowess wasn't enough to pull off the upset.
Lindsey Wilson junior center Terran Duncan contributed 16 points, and senior Shola Aladejebi added 11 points and six rebounds.
Campbellsville's Julija Ilic and Juliana Brown each scored 18 points in the loss.
In the men's game, the Campbellsville men outscored the Blue Raiders 23-7 over the final seven minutes of the first half and never looked back en route to the 75-53 win.
The Blue Raiders dropped their seventh straight game -- the program's longest losing streak since the 1995-96 season.
During the back-breaking run to end the half, Campbellsville held the Blue Raiders scoreless for the final 4:06 to take a 36-20 halftime lead.
Lindsey Wilson committed 15 first-half turnovers -- one more than its season average for an entire game. The 15 LWC mistakes led to 19 Campbellsville points.

John Fitzgerald scored the first basket of the second half to cut the Campbellsville (22-4, 4-3) lead to 14. That was as close as the Blue Raiders (16-10, 1-6) came.
Campbellsville methodically increased its lead to as many as 27 points (73-46) in the second half en route to the 22-point win.
The No. 10-ranked Tigers finished the game 47.7 percent (21-of-44) from the field. The Tigers made 10-of-18 second-half shots.
The Blue Raiders' shooting woes continued as they hit a frigid 38.6 percent (17-of-44) from the field, including 4-of-18 three pointers.
Campbellsville junior Zach Allender led the Tigers with a game-high 21 points. He also grabbed 10 rebounds.
Fitzgerald led the Blue Raiders with 16 points, and sophomore
Brandon Adams added 12 points.
