Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team avenged their only Mid-South Conference loss of the season today with a 66-61 win over visiting West Virginia Tech at Biggers Sports Center.
The Blue Raiders (13-15, 7-1 MSC) erased a seven-point first-half deficit to take a 30-23 lead at the break.
Tech (20-7, 4-4) scored 12 of the first 16 points of the second half to take a 35-34 lead with 16 minutes left in the game.
The Lady Golden Bears extended their lead to 44-39 before the Blue Raiders took control.
Lindsey Wilson scored the game's next nine points.

Kera Gibson led the run with a three-pointer and junior
Terran Duncan scored the next seven points to give the Blue Raiders a 48-44 lead at the 8:33 mark.
The Blue Raiders extended their lead to 10 points (63-53) thanks to three consecutive three pointers. Gibson -- who helped the LWC hit 7-of-14 three point baskets -- hit bookend treys to give the Blue Raiders the double digit lead with 3:06 left.
But West Virginia Tech refused to go away. The Lady Golden Bears scored eight straight points to cut the Lindsey Wilson lead to 63-61 with 49 seconds left.
That was as close as Tech would get.

Krystal Jackson scored a basket and the back end of a double bonus to give the Blue Raiders the 66-61 win.
The Blue Raiders remain atop the MSC standings with a 7-1 record. LWC holds a one-game lead over University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) with two games remaining.
Duncan finished with a game-high 21 points, while Gibson contributed 13 points off the Blue Raider bench. The Lindsey Wilson reserves out-scored the Golden Bear reserves 29-10.
Tech's Kierra Wilkins led the Lady Golden Bears with 18 points.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 6 p.m. CST on Thursday as the Blue Raiders host Pikeville (Ky.) College in the final home game of the season at Biggers Sports Center.
