COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The No. 3-ranked Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer team used 10 second half goals to beat Pikeville (Ky.) College 15-0 tonight at Lindsey Wilson Park.
Eleven different Blue Raiders scored on the evening as Lindsey Wilson out-shot Pikeville 28-2 for the game.
Freshman forward Kidane Dalva recorded a hat trick and added an assist to lead the Blue Raiders (7-1 overall and 1-0 in the Mid-South Conference) to the easy victory.
In the second half, freshman midfielder Alex Linhard and freshman forward Moses Aduny both added two goals and an assist. Sophomore midfielder Joe Adams scored his first goal of the season and added three assists en route to the win.
Sophomore goalkeeper Pedro Caetano and freshman goalkeeper Michael Smith combined to record the shutout for Lindsey Wilson.
Pikeville falls 0-6-2 overall and 0-2-0 in the MSC.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 2:15 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 4, as the Blue Raiders face Indiana University Southeast in Marion, Ind.
