MARION, Ind. - The Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer team scored two second half goals to beat Indiana Wesleyan (Ind.) University tonight 2-1.
Indiana Wesleyan out-shot the Blue Raiders 13-10 for the game.
Freshman Nick Fortini scored in the 32nd minute giving Indiana Wesleyan a 1-0 lead going into the second half.
Freshman forward Moses Aduny sparked the Lindsey Wilson comeback with a goal in the 48th minute, Aduny was set up by sophomore forward Frederick Were.
In the 72nd minute senior midfielder Nathaniel Jafta completed the comeback with his fifth goal of the season. Jafta's goal gave Lindsey Wilson the lead as the Blue Raiders held on for the 2-1 victory.
Jafta's goal in the 72nd minute was the 13th game winning goal of his career moving him into fourth place on the all-time list.
Lindsey Wilson improves to 8-1 on the season.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, as the Blue Raiders travel to Campbellsville (Ky.) University in Campbellsville, Ky.
