COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Campbellsville (Ky.) University made 25-of-27 free throws to beat the Lindsey Wilson College men's basketball team 55-52 on Tuesday night at Biggers Sports Center.

Lindsey Wilson (16-12, 3-5 in the Mid-South Conference) limited the visiting Tigers (21-7, 4-4) to just 33.3 percent (14-of-42) shooting, but could not overcome being out-scored by 15 points from the free-throw line.

The Blue Raiders managed to make just 10-of-20 charity tosses.

After trailing 27-23 at the break, Campbellsville scored eight of the first 11 points in the second half to take its first lead of the game (31-30).

The Tigers increased their lead to 38-35 with 12:46 left in the game.

The Blue Raiders answered with a 10-2 run over the next seven minutes to take a 45-40 lead with 5:38 remaining.

Six straight Campbellsville points put the visitors on top with 2:33 left.

After the teams traded a pair of free throws, Lindsey Wilson junior guard George White scored and was fouled on an acrobatic move in the lane. The Louisville native buried the subsequent free throw to give the Blue Raiders a 50-48 lead with 1:34 left.

Campbellsville junior center Nelson Colmenares tied the game for the seventh and final time 18 seconds later. Colmenares finished with a game-high 25 points, including 15-of-17 from the free throw line.

White missed a chance to give Lindsey Wilson back to lead with 58 seconds left.

Campbellsville sophomore guard Jordan Benock grabbed the White missed and was fouled. Benock made both freebies to put the Tigers on top for good at 52-50.

Lindsey Wilson missed on its next two possessions and the Tigers hit 3-of-4 free throws to secure the 55-52 win.

Lindsey Wilson senior guard Donte' Williams led the Blue Raiders with 16 points. White added 14.

Campbellsville senior guard Bubba Long joined Colmenares in double figures with 11.
