PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- After being outshot 31-3, Shawnee State (Ohio) University never really stood a chance against the eleventh ranked Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer team on Saturday. Moses Aduny, Lebogang Moloto and Carnell Learmond all scored two goals to put the Bears away 7-0.
Orrin Farrell also scored a goal in the winning effort for the Blue Raiders which also saw them hold a slight 3-2 advantage in corner-kick opportunities.
Pedro Caetano and Greg Hartley split equal time in goal for Lindsey Wilson with each recording a save. Kevin Fischer and Ryan Hooper also split time for the Bears with Fischer making four saves with four goals allowed and Hooper snagging three saves with three goals allowed.
Fouls were close as Shawnee State held an 11-8 advantage while there were no cards issued in the Mid-South Conference matchup.
Only Moloto's 68th minute goal (Aduny) and Aduny's 82nd minute strike (Learmond) received assists for the Blue Raiders as they led 4-0 at the break before adding three second-half scores.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 2 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 9 against Bethel (Tenn.) College in McKenzie, Tenn.
