Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Sofie Jorgensen scored three goals and dished out an assist to lead the Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team past West Virginia Tech 9-0 in the quarterfinals of the Mid-South Conference Championship on Saturday morning at Walter S. Reuling Stadium.
The top-seeded Blue Raiders advance to face the winner of Shawnee State (Ohio) University and Campbellsville (Ky.) University in the semifinals in Rio Grande, Ohio on Nov. 10.
Lindsey Wilson outshot the Golden Bears 19-3, and had six different players score goals.
Katy Gilmour added a pair of goals for the Blue Raiders, while Ida Olsson, Elisha Fry, Saki Kataoka and Elizabet Madjarac all scored a goal as well.
Blue Raider keeper Reiko Yoshida recorded one save, while Hannah Jaskot wrapped up three saves on the day.
With the win, Lindsey Wilson improves to 13-6 overall, while West Virginia Tech falls to 5-15.
