MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The No. 2-ranked Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team used an early second half goal to beat host Auburn University Montgomery today at AUM Soccer Field.

Lindsey Wilson junior Mia Persson scored the game's only goal in the 51st minute off senior Ida Gregersen's assist to help the Blue Raiders (6-0-1) remain unbeaten this season. The goal is Persson's third of the season.

Lindsey Wilson senior goalkeeper Jordan Morrison picked up the win between the pipes with a pair of saves in the shutout. This season, Morrison owns three shutouts while allowing just three goals in her six games.

AUM finished the afternoon out-shooting the Blue Raiders 12-7, but just two Warhawk (3-5) shots found the target.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 5 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 1, as the Blue Raiders travel to University of Rio Grande (Ohio).
