ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- A pair of second-half goals was enough for host Flagler (Fla.) College tonight in a 2-1 win over the Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer team at Saints Field.
Flagler's Stephen Pratt and Marco Warren scored back-to-back goals in a three-minute span to post the come-from-behind win.
Tom Moody opened the scoring for the No. 1-ranked Blue Raiders (9-2-2) as he beat Flagler goalkeeper Josiah Holtz on a penalty kick in the 31st minute.
Both teams finished the first half with six shots, but Lindsey Wilson enjoyed the 1-0 lead at the break.
In the second half, the NCAA Division II Saints (7-3-2) had the better of the offensive play out-shooing Lindsey Wilson 9-4.
Pratt evened the match at 1-1 as his shot just beat Lindsey Wilson goalkeeper Yuta Nomura in the 63rd minute. Warren completed the comeback with a header for a goal in the 66th minute.
Nomura ended the game allowing the two goals while collecting five saves. Holtz stopped one Lindsey Wilson shot.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday, Oct. 20 as the Blue Raiders travel to Mid-South Conference foe University of Pikeville (Ky.).
