ROME, Ga. -- Lindsey Wilson men's golf finished third today at the Rome News-Tribune Invitational hosted by Berry (Ga.) at Stonebridge Golf Club.

The Blue Raiders shot a team-total 599 (296-303) over the two rounds to finish behind winner Cumberlands (Ky.) and runner-up Walters State (Tenn.). Cumberlands ended with a 578 (290-288) while Walters State posted a 589 (295-294).

Franck Medale led the Blue Raiders with a tie for 14th in the 57-man field. Medale ended with a two-round total 148 (73-75) after tying with a team-best round of 3-over par 75.

Daron Morris tied for 16th with a149 (72-77) and Nathan Clark tied for 21st with a 150 (74-76).

Ryne Burnett joined Medale with a 75 today to finish the tournament tied for 34th with a 16 (81-75). Nathan Hincks completes the Blue Raider team with a 158 (77-81) and a tie for 39th.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at the Mid-South Conference Championships April 21-23 at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood in Bardstown, Ky.
