Hindman and Hall highlight final day of the 2014 NAIA Men's Swimming and Diving National Championship

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- The Lindsey Wilson men's swim team finished in 12th place at the 2014 NAIA Men's Swimming and Diving National Championships at Oklahoma City Community College on Saturday.

Jonathan Hindman finished his collegiate swim career with a 13th place finish in the consolation finals of the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:07.33. He qualified in 11th place during the preliminaries in the morning session in a time of 2:05.72.

Corey Hall also swam in his final collegiate race at the national championships in the 200 yard butterfly. Hall qualified ninth during preliminaries and finished in 10th place during the consolation finals in the evening session.

The 400 yard freestyle relay team of Iker Larzabal, Ryan Leamy, Luke Royal and Hindman took 13th place in the consolation finals with a time of 3:13.88. The team qualified for the consolation finals with a time of 3:14.02.

In the preliminaries on Saturday morning, Royal swam in the 100 yard freestyle in a time of 48.87. Leamy and Larzabal both swam in the 1650 yard freestyle during the morning session. Larzabal placed two spots outside of the final 16 with a time of 17:04.17. Leamy finished in 21st place with a time of 17:18.25.

Lindsey Wilson finished the National Championships in 12th place with 65 points. Oklahoma Baptist won its third-straight NAIA Men's Swimming and Diving National Championship with 900 points. Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) took second place with 485 points while Savannah College of Art and Design (Ga.) rounded out the top-3 with 480 points.

The Blue Raiders will be back in action in the fall for the 2014-15 season.
