SPRING ARBOR, Mich. -- Lindsey Wilson's Gwendoline Fai scored the lone goal tonight as the No. 3-ranked Blue Raiders beat host and No. 14-ranked Spring Arbor (Mich.) 1-0 at Cougar Soccer Field.

Fai broke the scoreless tie in the 49th minute with her second goal in as many games for the Blue Raiders off Lyana Perez's second assist of the season.

With the win, Lindsey Wilson improves to 2-0 on the season. Spring Arbor falls to 2-1 on the season with the loss.

Lindsey Wilson concluded the game out-shooting its host 12-7, including 5-2 in shots on goal.

Johanna Henriksson picked up her first shutout of the season while collecting a pair of saves. Sarah Yancer stopped three Blue Raider shots while allowing the goal in the loss for the Cougars.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, Sept. 5, as the Blue Raiders host Westmont (Calif.) at Walter S. Reuling Stadium.
