COLUMBIA, Ky. – The top-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team concluded their 2015 regular season with a 2-0 win over Georgia Gwinnett on Senior Night.

Lindsey Wilson (13-1-2) scored twice late in the first half as Fabienne Rochaix and Isobel Dalton scored less than three minutes apart, to give the Blue Raiders a 2-0 win over Georgia Gwinnett (9-6-1).

In the first half, the Blue Raiders could not break through the Georgia Gwinnett backline until the 33rd minute, where Rochaix struck the ball from the right flank to beat the Grizzly goalkeeper.

Dalton doubled up the Lindsey Wilson lead in the 35th minute as she collected a loose ball in the 18-yard box, and beat the goalkeeper to the far post to give the Blue Raiders a 2-0 lead heading into the half.

The Blue Raiders looked to increase their lead in the second half of the game, but were unable to find the back of the net for the remainder of the game.

Lindsey Wilson controlled the play throughout the game as they outshot Georgia Gwinnett, 18-3. The Blue Raiders held the Grizzlies without a shot on goal and without a corner kick during the night.

In goal, Johanna Henriksson and Megan Rauch combined to record the eighth shutout of the season for Lindsey Wilson.

Prior to the game, the 2015 Blue Raider senior class was honored for their dedication to the program and Lindsey Wilson College. The seniors included Rauch, Emilia Jonsson and Gloria Hensley, along with Kristina Gibson and Marissa McCormick of the junior varsity program.

Next up for the Blue Raiders in the Mid-South Conference Tournament, which begins on Nov. 5 in Bowling Green, Ky. Lindsey Wilson is the top-seed in the tournament.
