SILVIS, Ill. -- Lindsey Wilson men's golf slipped one spot in today's final round to finish fourth at the TPC Deere Run Invitational.
Lindsey Wilson shot a team total 305 today. The Blue Raiders finished the tournament with a two-round total of 591 (286-305). No. 13 Taylor (Ind.) won the team title in the 23-team field with a 576 (278-298).
The Blue Raiders were one of 19 teams to shoot a higher score today than yesterday's round. Today's 23-team average was 312.8 compared to Friday's average of 301.1.
Rasmus Broholt Lind -- who was tied atop the leaderboard after the first round -- finished a team-best third. He posted a two-day total 141 (75-66) including a career-best 66 on Friday. After six birdies in the first round, Lind managed just one today.
Lind's top-10 is his fifth of the season and fourth straight.
Callum Blinkhorn tied for 20th in the 120-man field at 148 (72-76). He posted two of the team's six birdies today. Jeremiah Hayes matched Blinkhorn's 76 today -- and his two birdies -- to climb eight spots up the leaderboard to finish tied for 32nd. He posted a 150 (74-76) over the two days.
Cody Mingus finished two shots back of Hayes and in a tie for 38th. He concluded the weekend with a 152 (74-78). Connor True rounded out the Blue Raider quintet with a tie for 110th at 170 (83-87).
Taylor's Alec Dutkowski and Iowa Western's Tom Westenberger finished tied for the individual title with 139s. They were two of three golfers to finish the two days under par.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on April 9-10 as the Blue Raiders host the Mid-South Conference Spring Tournament at Dale Hollow State Park Golf Course in Burkesville, Ky.
