COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team left Mid-South Conference action to take on Wilberforce (Ohio) in a game they won 76-52, after a huge second-half run at Biggers Sports Center.

With the victory, John B. Wethington recorded his 600th career win as a head coach of the Blue Raider program. All of his wins have come at the helm of Lindsey Wilson Women's Basketball.

The Blue Raiders shot 35.8 percent from the floor during the game and finished with a demanding 54-33 rebounding advantage.

J'Nayah Hall and Reagan Turner continue to lead the Blue Raiders offensive efforts. Hall finished the game with 21 points, nine rebounds and five assists as Turner added 19 points and three steals in the winning effort.

For the second consecutive game, Lindsey Wilson would lead from wire-to-wire. LWC managed to jump out to an early 10-1 lead through the first five minutes of action. The Bulldogs would cut that advantage to three in the quarter but LWC would lead 18-10 after one.

Wilberforce managed to trim the Blue Raider advantage to just three at 18-15 with 7:38 to play in the second quarter, but it was as close as they got to taking a lead. Lindsey Wilson would then produce a 26-2 scoring run to close out the half, giving the Blue Raiders a 27 point lead.

Lindsey Wilson held the Bulldogs scoreless for 7:14 of the quarter, scoring 26 consecutive points, as Wilberforce went 0-of-9 from the field during the span.

The Blue Raiders would continue to push the pace in the third quarter, extending their lead to as many as 33 twice, before ultimately taking the game 76-52. Lindsey Wilson shot 35.5 percent from the field in the half and went 7-of-8 from the charity stripe.

Jamee Denman led Wilberforce with 10 points as Mustafa Notter just missed a double-double nine points and a game-high 14 rebounds.

The Blue Raiders are back in action at 6 p.m. CT on Thursday as they play host to Georgetown (Ky.) in MSC action at Biggers Sports Center.
