COLUMBIA, Ky. – Reagan Turner tallied 29 points and made 12 free throws on 7-of-12 shooting from the field en route to an 82-72 victory over No. 22-ranked Thomas More (Ky.) on Saturday afternoon at Biggers Sports Center. Turner also dished out three assists moving her career total to 309, pushing her up into ninth place on the all-time LWC WBB career assists leaderboard.

Today was senior day and marked the final home game for the three valuable Lindsey Wilson seniors: J'Nayah Hall, DeAsia Outlaw, and Jynea Harris.

In her final home game as a Blue Raider, Hall put together her fourth double-double of the season, notching 10 points & 12 rebounds while also adding five assists. Hall also cracked the 10th spot on the all-time LWC WBB career rebounds list with 516.

Outlaw walks out of Biggers Sports Center for the last time in her career scoring 18 points, grabbing six rebounds, and dishing out four assists.

Harris finished her final game with eight points and seven rebounds in a team-high 39 minutes of action. Maleigha Oldham rounded up 11 points while going 3-of-6 from behind the arc to help send her senior teammates off on a winning note at home.

For Thomas More, Emily Schultz made her presence known in the paint, as she put together a double-double with 22 points & 10 rebounds on 11-of-20 shooting. Zoie Barth managed 14 points and five assists, joining Schultz as the only other Saint with double-digit points on the night.

The first quarter proved to be the difference maker in the game, favoring Lindsey Wilson who jumped out to a quick 9-0 lead. The Saints had no answers for the LWC scoring attack, trailing by as much as 13 with less than two minutes remaining. The Blue Raiders held on to a 28-10 lead after one, and limited Thomas More to just 30 percent shooting from the field while allowing Barth to lead TMU with just three points in the quarter.

The second quarter was presented as a defensive showdown, but still favored the home town Blue Raiders. Thomas More went freezing cold shooting the rock, going over eight minutes of action without scoring to dig more of a deficit that would need to be overcome later. In the meantime, Lindsey Wilson took full advantage and climbed out to a 20 point lead which eventually spiraled into the 42-17 halftime lead they controlled. The Saints entered the halftime locker room shooting just 24 percent from the field while the Blue Raiders were shooting 55 percent.

The third quarter scoring rolled in favor of Thomas More, who fell in desperate need of chipping away at the deficit. Lindsey Wilson let its lead dip down to 13 in the third quarter, but continued to fend off any Saints run despite being outscored by 11 points in the quarter.

The final quarter once again saw TMU score the basketball at a high level, notching 31 points in the final stanza. Despite its lead being trimmed to single-digits with less than two minutes remaining, Lindsey Wilson never panicked and drilled 10 free throws from the charity stripe in crunch time to lock up another Mid-South Conference win.

The Blue Raiders finish the 2020 year going 13-2 at Biggers Sports Center.

Lindsey Wilson concludes the regular season on Thursday, Feb. 27 on the road against (RV) Cumberlands (Ky.) at 5 p.m. CT.
