Box Score

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team struggled to find a rhythm in just their second contest this season falling 3-1 to Cumberlands (Ky.) on Tuesday evening at Blue Raider Stadium.

Cumberlands (7-0, 3-0 MSC) pushed the pace all night registering a 32-3 shot advantage including a 13-1 shot on goal mark. Much of the action was held in the Blue Raiders (1-1, 1-1 MSC) defensive third all night as Eveljn Frigotto corralled 10 saves on the night in goal for Lindsey Wilson.

The Tigers broke the scoreless game in the 23rd minute when Jayden Boelter scored into a wide-open goal off a Lauren Navajas chip pass after attacking the penalty area. Cumberlands struck again in the 65th minute to increase their lead Navajas scored off a Shara Randez assist.

Four minutes later, in the 69th minute, Yudaya Nakayenze scored the lone LWC goal off a Minni Laukka corner kick that she headed home.

Cumberlands put the game away in the 84th minute when Selena Barnett scored to increase the Patriots' advantage to 3-0.
