MOBILE, Ala. - The Blue Raiders' men's soccer team ventured south to open their 2020-21 season at the University of Mobile. However, it was the home side that escaped the jungle with a 2-1 victory.

Cyrus Harmon tallied the lone goal for Lindsey Wilson off an assist from Rainer De Jesus 36 minutes into the first half, but a scoreless second half sealed the fate for the visitors as Harmon's goal would only pull his side within one.

It took only 18 seconds for the Rams to open the scoring off a Lindsey Wilson turnover deep in Mobile's offensive zone. A second goal added at the 31-minute mark would prove to be the difference.

David Ibramkadic tallied a game-high three shots for the Blue Raiders, including one on goal.

David Coffey faced five shots between the posts for Lindsey Wilson, collecting three saves.

Another road game lies ahead for the Blue Raiders (0-1) as they travel to Campbellsville (Ky.) on Feb. 16 for a 7 p.m. CT kick-off.

The home opener is currently slated for Feb. 21 against Life (Ga.)
