YANKTON, S.D. – Meredith Johnson was the lone Blue Raider to compete at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championship on Wednesday afternoon.

Johnson competed in the 1,000-meter run where she sported a time of three minutes and 05:02 seconds. She crossed the finish line in 11th place. She missed out on making Friday's finals by just over two seconds in the 16 person field.

The championship marks the end of the indoor season as the Blue Raiders will now turn their attention to the outdoor season. LWC opens action on March 26-27 when they take part in the Margaret Simmons Invitational in Murray, Ky.
