LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Meredith Johnson's seventh place finish at the Louisville Classic on Saturday afternoon helped propel the Blue Raiders to seventh place team finish at the Louisville Classic.

Lindsey Wilson competed against 40 other programs at the event and finished the 5k race with an average time of 20 minutes and 01.00 seconds.

Johnson paced all Blue Raiders as she crossed the finish line in 18:55.2. She was just 45 seconds off the first-place pace set by Allison Sherman of Detroit Mercy.

Lotte Gertler finished in 54th place with a time of 20:10.5 as Alyssa Sharp managed a 57th place finish with her mark of 20:15.3. Olivia Rudder finished in 62nd (20:21.9), Annabelle Walker took 65th (20:23.7), Kaylee Masden finished in 104th (20:46.6), as Madisyn Mitoraj and Macey Wilson finished in 170th and 171st with marks of 21:44.4 and 21:22.5.

Laura Cuin, Cady Schoeck and Jenna Burden also competed in the event, finishing with times of 22:16.0, 22:40.7, and 23:47.6, respectively. In total, 356 student-athletes competed in the event.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Friday, Oct. 7, when they compete at the Brescia Invitational in Owensboro, Ky.
