COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team falls to Thomas More (Ky.) 3-1 in the Quarterfinals of the Mid-South Conference tournament on Ray Wells Field at Walter S. Reuling Stadium on Friday afternoon.

Lindsey Wilson was outshot by Thomas More 12-8 with the shots-on-goal disparity being 5-2.

The Blue Raiders thought they had opened the scoring on a Rayssa De Souza header, but the line judge called Lindsey Wilson for offsides, disallowing the goal.

Eventually the Saints would notch the opening goal after Ryann Meddings pinged a cross into the box, finding the head of Olivia Mohs and pinning the game at 1-0. That score would hold until the halftime whistle.

Thomas More would go on to double their advantage in the 63rd minute after Sterre Harsveld van der Veen lobbed a ball from the midfield to Sydney Rhodes beating a charging Maya Caon with a chip shot, giving the Saints a two goal lead.

Thomas More would go on to add another from Olivia Mohs in the 74th minute, putting the game out of reach. Emma Lindell would net a consolation goal in the 90th minute, but the Blue Raiders couldn't muster another attack.

Lindsey Wilson waits to hear if their season continues on Nov. 14 when the NAIA national office announces the 2022 National Championship Qualifiers
