BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Lindsey Wilson women's indoor track & field team traveled to Indiana to compete in the Hoosier Open hosted by the University of Indiana at Gladstein Fieldhouse. The Blue Raiders picked up ten top-ten finishes and picked up one win on the day.

In the field events, Malorie Carter got things started off in the weight-throw competition with a throw of 12.13 meters. Tori Kennedy and Emily Huber finished closely behind with throws of 11.35 and 11.19 meters, respectively.

Luna Senica placed fifth in the long jump with a jump of 5.54 meters, earning a "B" standard.

In the track events, Jozlen Brisbon won the 60-meter with a time of seven point fifty-eight seconds, earning an "A" standard. She followed that performance with a seventh place finish in the 300-meter event earning a time of 42.92. Kyra Engel and Senca flanked her in ninth and tenth place with times of 43.41 and 43.62.

Eliza Hagens took sixth in the 1000-meter with a time of 3:47.26 while Macey Wilson settled in tenth place in the Mile finishing in 6:08.45.

Meredith Johnson rounded out the day for Lindsey Wilson in the 3000-meter taking sixth place in 10:21.08 earning a "B" standard.

The Blue Raiders will return to action in January at the Bellarmine Open to continue their indoor season.
