MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – At the Fernandez Family Center, Amelia Hodges pieced together 15 points in the fourth quarter to help rally the Lindsey Wilson women's basketball back from a late deficit to upset the homestanding Bobcats of (RV) St. Thomas University, 76-73.

Entering the final frame of regulation, the Blue Raiders' sophomore had only one point to her name, but quickly got herself into a rhythm with a three-pointer to open the quarter. From there, the two sides traded buckets, and with 5:24 remaining on the clock, St. Thomas had maintained its advantage, 67-62. That's when Hodges took control.

Over the final five minutes of game time, the local's point guard battled hard against the Bobcats' heavy defense to rattle off 10 of Lindsey Wilson's final 14 points, including a heat-check three-pointer to knot the contest at 73-73 with 1:31 to play.

The afternoon's go-ahead basket came almost a minute later off the hands of Maleigha Oldham, who's appearance on Thursday moved her into sole possession of first place on the program's career game's played list at 134. The senior took a quick pass down low from Lucy Patterson and finished off the glass after spinning away from her defender to push the Blue Raiders in front, 75-73. Then, in the closing seconds, a free throw from Hodges ultimately sealed the deal as Lindsey Wilson's defense did not allow St. Thomas to get off a final shot.

In her record-breaking outing, Oldham ended up with 16 points and a team-best five assists, while Patterson dominated on the boards for a career-high 17 rebounds to go along with a team-high 17 points. It is also the most rebounds collected individually by a Blue Raiders since Bree Glover pulled down an identical 17 at Midway University last season on November 11.

Also finishing in double figures for the visitors was Jordyn Stephens, who turned in seven second-half points en route to a game-total of 13.

As a team, Lindsey Wilson shot 45 percent from the floor and 15-of-22 on visits to the charity stripe. The Blue Raiders, additionally, outrebounded the Bobcats 41-32

The St. Thomas Holiday Invitational concludes tomorrow afternoon when Lindsey Wilson faces Florida Memorial University at 11 a.m. CST.
