LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's indoor track & field team finished in third place at the Mid-South Conference Championships. The Blue Raiders rounded up 77 team points.
Life (Ga.) captured the title after collecting 222s total points while Cumberlands (Ky.) finished as runner-up with 155 total points.
In the field events today, Malorie Carter finished seventh in the weight throw competition after throwing for 13.20 meters, earning two points.
In the track events, Jozlen Brisbon captured third in the 60-meter dash after placing a time of seven point sixty-seven seconds earning an "A" standard, third-team all-conference honors, and six points.
Meredith Johnson claimed second in the 1000-meter run with a time of 3:02.69 earning second-team all-conference honors and eight points for the Blue Raiders. Johnson also finished runner-up in the mile run with a time of 5:21.76 earning another eight points and second-team all-conference honors.
Additionally, Henriette Hawlas placed sixth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.97 and fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:27.67. Olivia Rudder also took part in the 800-meter run placing ninth with a time of 2:34.89.
Indoor Track & Field will return to action at NAIA Indoor Nationals in Brookings, South Dakota March 2-5.
