MURRAY, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's track and field team continued their outdoor season this weekend as they finished ninth with 26 total points in the Margaret Simmons Invitational hosted by Murray State.

In the track events, Jozlen Brisbon got things started with a sixth-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of twelve point thirty-two seconds for four points.

In the relays, the Blue Raiders claimed fourth in the 4x100 meter event with a time of 49.56 for five points.

In the field events, Luna Senica placed second in the long jump with a leap of 5.61 meters for eight points while Henriette Hawlas placed third with a leap of 5.58 meters for six points. Hawlas added another three points after she placed sixth in the high jump with a leap of 1.55 meters.

The Blue Raiders will continue their outdoor season on April 2 when they travel to Bowling Green, Kentucky for the WKU Invite hosted by Western Kentucky University.
