BEAVERCREEK, Ohio – This past weekend, the Lindsey Wilson men's bowling team competed in the Orange and Black Classic, hosted by Union College (Ky.).
On Saturday, the Blue Raiders placed seventh in the field of nine with a final score of 5,855, averaging 162.6 across 36 baker games.
Then, on Sunday, Lindsey Wilson finished second among Mid-South Conference schools and sixth overall. Peyton Huskey rolled the team's high game for the day with a 245. The junior closed with a five-game average of 202.2 and helped the Blue Raiders record the highest fifth-game total of any team at 1,069.
All told, Huskey paced Lindsey Wilson with a 12th-place individual finish, followed by Jason Womack (22nd, 195.0 average), Nick Blakey (37th, 186.2), Ryan Smith (49th, 179.0), and Connor Fromme (66th, 194.75).
Lindsey Wilson returns to the lanes this weekend in Smyrna, Tennessee for the Music City Classic on Saturday, October 28, and the Brandon Burns Memorial Classic on Sunday, October 29.
