PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team fell at Trinity Christian 5-0 on Thursday.

The Blue Raiders (1-6) were outshot 23-4 by the Trolls (6-1-1) and 12-2 in shots on goal. Ashiat Naluggwa recorded two shots and a shot on goal. Silvia Marchesi recorded the other shot on goal for Lindsey Wilson. Gabby Duerson recorded seven saves.

Trinity Christian struck first in the seventh minute Grace Wieneke crossed a ball into the box and found a running Kara Amidon who headed it in. Trinity Christian added to the lead in the 15th minute. Olvia Andre played the ball to Demi Scibetta, who then crossed the ball into the box and found a running Emily Soriaga who gave Trinity Christian a 2-0 lead. Lindsey Wilson only recorded one shot in the first 45 minutes while the Trolls had 12 with seven being on goal.

The Trolls increased their lead to 3-0 in the 46th minute on a goal from Scibetta. Trinity Christian added two more goals in the 65th and 83rd minute.

The Blue Raiders are back in action on Tuesday when they open Mid-South Conference play at Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) at 5 p.m. CT.
