COLUMBIA, Ky.-- The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team is preparing for their upcoming match against Georgetown College (Ky.) with kickoff scheduled for 5 pm CST on Friday at Toyota Stadium in Georgetown, Kentucky. 

Lindsey Wilson enters play on Friday with a  2-5-2 record and are currently 1-1 in the Mid-South Conference. The Blue Raiders were last in action on Oct. 9 picking up a 2-1 victory over No. 18 Georgia Gwinnett. Lindsey Wilson's success in the last game can be attributed to standout performances from Lara Rocha and Sharon Nadunga, both of whom found the back of the net to secure the win. Their ability to find the back of the net will be vital against Georgetown, as the team looks to build on this momentum. 

On the other side, Georgetown (5-2-5, 0-2 MSC)  is coming off a tough 2-1 loss against Bethel on Oct. 10 (Tenn.), a match in which Laura Beumala was the only player to score for the Tigers. The loss was a setback, but  they will be eager to return in front of their home crowd. Georgetown will need to enhance their defensive coordination and find more offensive opportunities to support Beumala.

Both teams are currently looking for essential points in the conference standings, making this match-up all the more significant. Lindsey Wilson will look to show their offensive strengths while Georgetown aims to regain their momentum.
