COLUMBIA, Ky.-- The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team is set to face off against #1 ranked University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) in an exciting Mid-South Conference match-up. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT. on Wednesday at Walter S Reuling Stadium.

Coming in on a three-match winning streak, Lindsey Wilson hopes to build off its momentum after a recent victory at Georgetown (Ky.). Alina Siegel and Liza von Blumenthal were the Blue Raiders two goal scorers in the come-from-behind victory. With Siegel and von Blumenthal leading last week's game, Lindsey Wilson aims to exploit any weaknesses in the Cumberlands' defense and secure a vital win in this conference match-up.

On the other side, Cumberlands is also in fine form, having just defeated Cumberland (Tenn.) 3-0 last Friday. Goal scorers Jayden Boelter, Carola Fontan, and Olaya Blanco were instrumental in the Patriots' success. Cumberlands' strong offensive lineup will pose a challenge for Lindsey Wilson.
