COLUMBIA, Ky. — Dominic Ayella's two first-half goals lifted Lindsey Wilson men's soccer to a 2-0 victory over Campbellsville in the Mid-South Conference Tournament semifinal on Monday at Walter S. Reuling Stadium. The win advances the Blue Raiders to the MSC final and brings them within reach of a conference title on home turf.

Ayella opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, slotting home a corner kick from Sebastian Tregarthen to give Lindsey Wilson (9-5-2) the early advantage. Just two minutes later, the freshman forward struck again, connecting with another cross from Tregarthen to double the lead.

The Blue Raiders outshot the Tigers (12-6-2) with a commanding 27-11 edge, including 10 shots on goal. Campbellsville's defense was tested throughout, with their goalkeeper making eight saves to keep the Tigers in contention. Lindsey Wilson's backline, however, held strong, limiting Campbellsville to just two shots on goal, both of which were saved by the Blue Raiders' defense.

As Lindsey Wilson now advances to the MSC Tournament final, they look to secure the conference title with another strong performance at home. They Blue Raiders will be back in action at 6 p.m. CT. on Wednesday against Cumberlands (Ky.) on Ray Wells Field at Walter S. Reuling Stadium.
