DES MOINES, Iowa– Men's wrestling competed in their second tournament of the season at the Grand View University Open this Saturday. 

The Blue Raiders had a challenging day on the mat as several wrestlers faced tough competition. Overall, none of the wrestlers finished at the top.

Alex Tabor (Fresh/Soph 133) fought through six rounds but ultimately fell to Dariuz Black of Briar Cliff (Iowa) by a 9-5 decision. Tabor's resilience was a highlight, though the result didn't go his way. Clarence Lee-Green (125) and Arlo Laxton (133) also showed determination, each going five rounds, but both came up short.

Lee-Green was defeated 5-2 by Jakason Burks from Central Missouri, while Laxton was tech-falled 15-0 by Drew Cooper of Iowa Central Community College.
 
The Blue Raiders will be back in action November 23rd when they travel to Powder Springs, Georgia for the  Life University / Club Lucha Open at 9 am CST.
