MARIETTA, Ga. – The Lindsey Wilson men's bowling team placed 19
th over the weekend at the Bowlero Southern Classic – Tier I in Marietta, Georgia.
The Blue Raiders finished with a total of 5,189 pins across six team games and added another 3,552 pins in 20 baker games. Lindsey Wilson's high score in baker action came later in the day when it rolled a 246 in game 19.
Nick Blakey paced the Blue Raiders in team play, finishing 62
nd overall with an average pin fall of 184.7. He cracked the 200-pin threshold twice, including a tournament-best 230 in his first game.
Peyton Troutt placed 85
th after averaging 168.7 and rolling a high-game of 188, and
Braxton Crook earned 101
st place with a 181.2 average over five games.
Cole Greathouse, – 178.5 average in four games –
Peyton Huskey, -- 161.5 average in four games –
Lucas Pendola, -- 167.0 average in three games –
Cameron Farmer, -- 157 average in one game – and
Jason Womack, -- 145 average in one game – rounded out the Blue Raiders' team efforts.
Lindsey Wilson closes the fall portion of its 2024-25 schedule on November 22 and 23 at the NAIA BCA Invitational in Jeffersontown, Kentucky.
