COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team played their final home game of the season on Saturday, facing Campbellsville in the senior day matchup. The Blue Raiders took the win with a final score of 103-94.
After a back and forth battle during the first half, the Blue Raiders ended the half with a 49-44 lead over the Tigers. Leading in points for Lindsey Wilson were Bryce Brown with 15 and Kenyata Carbon with 12. Carbon also led in assists and rebounds with six and five of each. Barrett Burchyett tallied two blocks and Robinson recorded two steals. The Blue Raiders shot 58.1% from the field, 30% on three point shots and 71.4% from the free throw line. Leading in points for the Tigers were Jace Wallace with 12 and Darius Harding with 10. Chandler Clements led in rebounds with five and Harding recorded two assists. Campbellsville shot 45.2% from the field, 54.5% on three point shots and 83.3% from the free throw line.
Lindsey Wilson maintained their lead throughout the second half, recording 54 points in the half. Carbon added 17 points in the second half, for a game total of 29. Carbon also added five assists and three rebounds this half, and earned himself a double-double. Brown recorded 19 points overall and Connor Robinson and Matt Khoury each recorded 15 points throughout the game. The Blue Raiders shot 64.3% from the field, 53.3% on three point shots, and 53.6% from the free throw line. Point leaders for the Tigers were Wallace with 24 points overall and Cobe Penny with 21 overall. Clements added two rebounds for a total of seven, and Keaston Brown recorded four assists. Campbellsville shot 62.1% from the field, 40% on three point shots and 76.9% from the free throw line.
The Blue Raiders will face Cumberlands on the Road next Thursday at 6:30 p.m. CST. The game will be broadcasted live on Patriots All-Access.
