COLUMBIA, Ky. – The first half of Lindsey Wilson's Mid-South Conference volleyball schedule concludes at 7 p.m. CST on Tuesday when the Blue Raiders visit Cumberland (Tenn.).

The Blue Raiders are actively rolling on a 10-match winning streak that includes seven sweeps and five conference wins. Most recently, Lindsey Wilson capped off a perfect month of September and a flawless four-match homestand with triumphs over Bethel (Tenn.) and Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.).

The next Tennessee-based opponent has dropped its last two league matches but does lead the conference in service access, solo blocks, and block assists. Junior Hazel Konkel spearheads the Phoenix on offense and defense. The middle blocker paces her team with 267 kills – third-most in the Mid-South – and a league-leading 111 total blocks. She is aided by Elaine Shaneyfelt, who currently ranks fifth in the NAIA for total digs with 416.

During Lindsey Wilson's recent four-match homestay, senior Elisa Burzio produced a team-high 40 kills while hitting .313. She also added 29 digs and six blocks. Fellow senior, Savanah Pippin, recorded a .617 attack percentage with 30 kills and only one error. Her .387 hitting mark on the year sits second in the conference, and ninth in the nation for hitters with at least 200 attempts.

Tuesday's meeting will be the 66^th all-time between Lindsey Wilson and Cumberland on the volleyball court. Since 2011, the Blue Raiders are 28-2 against the Phoenix, including 12-1 in Lebanon with nine sweeps.
