NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Lindsey Wilson women's track & field team competed at the Commodore Challenge at the Vanderbilt Multipurpose Facility on Saturday.
The Blue Raiders broke a pair of school records and earned a pair of NAIA standards.
Hannah Reid set her second school record and earned an "A: standard in the women's 400- meter. Reid finished first with a school-record time of 54.98.
Anna Grasse and Ta'Shya Cramer came in 10th and 11th recording a time of 1:00.82 and 1:00.95.
In the 4x400 relay, Grasse, Cramer, Reid, and Kayly Gutherie came in sixth as they set the school record with a time of 3:59.24.
Guthrie earned a "B: cut in the 60-meter prelims with a time of 7.64. In the finals, she finished fifth with a time of 7.69.
Rosemond Owusu finished tied for fifth in the high jump with a distance of 1.61 meters.
Sancia Smith finished 11th in the 600 with a time of 1:48.55. In the 200-meter,
Ophiellia Bernard and
Jermani Morris came in 19th and 20th at a time of 26.97 and 27.05.
Destiny Barnes finished 21st in the long jump with a distance of 4.96 meters.
The Blue Raiders will be back for the Bellarmine Open on Friday, Jan. 17 in Louisville, Kentucky.
