DANVILLE, Ky.- The Lindsey Wilson women's track and field team finished fifth at the Centre Indoor Showcase Saturday at Champions Hall.

The Blue Raiders tallied 56 points to finish tied for fifth with Brescia (Ky.) Berry (Ga.) finished first with 108 points while Campbellsville was second with 81.

Alejandra Formoso had an impressive day, earning a pair of top-two finishes. She claimed first place in the 800-meter with a time of 2:32.78 and delivered a strong performance in the 3000-meter, finishing with a time of 12:00.91

Isabel Urrutia Lemus qualified for the 60-meter hurdles by finishing second in the prelims with a time of 8.88 setting an event record. She went on to dominate the finals, securing first place, beating her previous time, and setting another event record with a time of 8.85 and earned an NAIA B standard.

Jozlen Brisbon and Ophiellia Bernard both qualified for the 60-meter dash, setting times of 7.99 and 8.14 in the prelims. Brisbon finished first in the finals with a time of 7.83, while Bernard came in fourth at 7.99.

Alisha Claycomb finished fifth in the 400-meter dash finishing in 1:04.47. Bernard finished seventh in the 200-meter dash while Zoe Wilson finished eighth in the 5,000-meter with a time 22:19.01.

Reagan Cheatham finished seventh in the shot put with a throw of 10.93 meters and finished seventh in the weight throw with a distance of 12.76 meters.

The Lindsey Wilson women's track team will compete in the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational at Norton Healthcare Sport and Learning Center on Friday,January 31.
