JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's bowling team competed in a pair of Mid-South Conference events this past weekend at Kingpin Lanes. The Blue Raiders placed 15
th on Saturday in the Lynne Jordan Memorial and 18
th on Sunday in the Thomas N. Burris Memorial.
In the first of the two events, Lindsey Wilson scored an overall total of 5,115 pins, bowling a team-best 211 in the seventh of eight baker games.
Cole Greathouse turned in three games of 190 or better in the team games portion of the tournament, including a fourth-game score of 224 en route to a 45
th-place finish and 196.3 average.
Nick Blakey – 76
th – and
Peyton Troutt – 98
th – averaged 186.3 and 172.5, respectively.
Then, on Sunday, the Blue Raiders ended the day with a total pinfall of 4,497 and a high-baker score of 215 in the second game.
In team play,
Peyton Huskey – 70
th – started off with a 216 and logged a 181.5 average. Troutt – 81
st – followed close behind with a four-game average of 175.0 and high-score of 224.
Lindsey Wilson returns to the lanes on February 15-16 in Indianapolis, Indiana for the Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic.
