Play Halted During Second Round of MSC Fall Preview; Blue Raiders in First

BOWLING GREEN, KY- The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team is in first place after day one of the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview Monday at Bowling Green Country Club.
Play was halted due to darkness in the middle of the second round. The remainder of the second round and the final round will take place on Tuesday.

The Blue Raiders lead Cumberlands (Ky.) by seven shots. Lindsey Wilson carded a 2-over par 290 in round one and is currently at even-par in round two. The Blue Raiders lead the tournament in par-5 scoring and -10 and have carded the most birdies with 25.

James Gibb and Stanley White are tied for first. Gibb carded and 1-under 71 in the first round and is -1 in round two. White carded a 70 in round one and is even in round two. White leads the tournament with seven birdies and is tied for first in par-3 scoring, averaging 2.71 strokes. Gibb has carded six birdies in the tournament so far, which is 2nd most in the field.

Scott Newman - competing as an individual - is in third after carding a 74 in round one and is -3 in the second round. Newman has recorded five birdies and has the best par-4 scoring in the tournament, averaging 4.00 strokes. Philip Kittoff Jr. and Polakrit Pawichai are tied for eighth. Kittoff Jr. carded a 74 in the first round and is shooting 1-over in round two. He has recorded the only eagle of the tournament so far. Polakrit Pawichai carded a 75 in the first round and is even in round two. Pawichai is tied for the most pars recorded with 22.

Toby White is tied for 23rd after shooting a 78 in the first round and is four-over in round two. White has recorded five birdies. Magnus Maahr - competing as an individual - is also tied for 23rd. Maahr shot a 79 and is +3 in the second round.

The final round of the MSC Fall Preview gets underway on Tuesday morning at Bowling Green Country Club.
