CLEVELAND, TN.- The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team came up short against Lee (Tenn.) 83-60 in an exhibition Monday, November 17, inside Paul Dana Walker Arena.

Kenyata Carbon led the Blue Raiders with 12 points and added one steal. Mihail Gavazov and DJ Gordon also reached double figures, scoring 11 and 10 points respectively.

The Blue Raiders (5-1) got off to a slow start, falling behind 8-0 early in the first half before Carbon put them on the board with a tip-in. Lindsey Wilson battled back and trimmed the lead to three after Gordon scored inside to make it 12-9 with 12:45 remaining in the half. Lee responded with efficient shooting, connecting on 50 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from beyond the arc to take a 40-29 lead at the break.

The Flames continued their strong shooting in the second half, finishing the night at 46.9 percent from the floor and 36.4 percent from three-point range. Gavazov opened the scoring after halftime to cut the deficit to 10, but Lindsey Wilson was unable to close the gap as Lee pulled away by as many as 25 points before sealing the 83-60 win.

The Blue Raiders return to action at 6 p.m. CT on Wednesday, November 19, when they host Simmons College inside Biggers Sports Center.
