COLUMBIA, Ky.- The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team remained undefeated after defeating the College of Coastal Georgia 89-82 on Sunday, November 2, inside Biggers Sports Center for the Brady Button Memorial Classic.

Julian Cunningham led the way for the Blue Raiders with 22 points, shooting 70 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc. Kenyata Carbon and Latrell Kyles also scored in double figures, adding 17 points each.

The Blue Raiders (4-0) got off to a fast start as Cunningham opened the scoring with a three-pointer. Lindsey Wilson went on a 7-0 run sparked by a Mihail Gavazov layup and capped by an Olson Nicholson basket with 17:21 left in the first half. The Blue Raiders led by as many as 10 points with just over five minutes remaining, but the Mariners (1-3) responded with an 8-0 run, closing the gap. Coastal Georgia's Braden Wood hit a three-pointer with 24 seconds left in the half to cut the Blue Raider lead to one heading into halftime.

The second half was tightly contested with both teams trading baskets. With 6:07 remaining, Cunningham caught fire, scoring five points in just 35 seconds to extend the Blue Raider lead to 71-58. Coastal Georgia continued to battle back, trimming the deficit to seven points at 77-70 with 2:03 left to play. Down the stretch, Lindsey Wilson sealed the win from the free-throw line to outlast the Mariners.

The Blue Raiders return to action Tuesday, November 2, at 5 p.m. CT to face Midway (Ky.) inside Marshall Gymnasium.
