COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's wrestling team moved up one spot to No. 5 in the latest NAIA Women's Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll, the national office announced Thursday.
The Blue Raiders garnered 137 points in the poll to tie with Wayland Baptist (Texas.).
Eleven Lindsey Wilson grapplers are ranked in their respective weight classes.
Reagan Thomas checks in at 13th in the 110-pound weight class.
Grace Lashinsky is the highest-ranked Blue Raider, coming in at No. 5 at 117 pounds.
Callie Payton is ninth at 117 pounds.
Kamilah Brooks is slotted at No. 8 at 124 pounds, and
Kalliscya Gardner is 11th. Jelia Ramos is eighth at 131 pounds.
Lexi Ritchie and
Brielle Bibla are eighth and 13th at 138 pounds, respectively.
Kori Campbell is ranked seventh at 145 pounds, while
Mallory Ladd is 16th at 180 pounds.
Hayeni Costa is ranked sixth in the 207-pound class.
Life (Ga.) leads all MSC schools coming in at No. 1 with 203 points. Indiana Tech is seventh with 111 points, while Cumberlands (Ky.) is also in the top 10 with 98 points, coming in 10th. Campbellsville (Ky.) is ranked 20th with 48 points. Montreat (N.C.), Midway (Ky.) are mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll.
Providence (Mont.) sits in second with 190 points, while Grand View (Iowa) is third with 184 points. William Penn (Iowa) is slotted fourth with 156 points.
The Blue Raiders are back in action on Saturday for the Berg Holiday Duals on Saturday in Tiffin, Ohio.
