The Bears then went on a 9-4 run, trimming the deficit to 39-26, but Lindsey Wilson held a slim 41-39 lead at halftime after a late layup from Victory Naboya.

The second half saw multiple momentum swings. Lindsey Wilson scored first on a three-point play from Olson Nicholson and a layup from Carbon to take a 46-41 lead. Shawnee State countered with a 13-4 run, taking control and forcing the Blue Raiders to play from behind. Lindsey Wilson responded with a 6-2 run, highlighted by Carbon and Gavazov scoring in transition, but the Bears pulled away late with a 13-6 run to claim a 77-69 advantage with seconds remaining.
