LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's track and field team opened the 2025-26 indoor season on Saturday, December 6, at the Commonwealth College Opener in Louisville, Kentucky.
The Blue Raiders finished third with 63 points. Selena Johnson was the lone athlete to meet an NAIA standard, finishing third in the triple jump with a mark of 11.83 m, reaching the "B" standard.
Other top performances included Ta'Shya Cramer finishing second in the 400 meters with 59.47, Jermani Morris finishing third in the 200 meters with 25.66, and Rosemond Owusu winning the high jump with 1.65 m. Owusu also finished third in the long jump with 5.46 m, setting a personal record, while Elaina Holliday placed fifth in the long jump with 5.26 m, also a personal record.
Reagan Cheatham finished fourth in the shot put with 12.47 m and eighth in the weight throw with 15.37 m, both personal records. In distance events, Emma Kate Emerson finished fifth in the mile with 6:05.26, and Zoe Wilson finished sixth in 6:09.53, setting a personal record.
The Blue Raiders return to action on Saturday, December 13, at the Warrior Athletic Multipurpose Building inside Warrior Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
